The PM tabled the 2007 budget in parlaiment today and there is good news for the sports fraternity.
This is what he said during in his speech;
RM721 million is provided to implement various youth and sports programmes. Community sport complexes will be built to encourage sport activities. A sum of RM91 million is provided for sports and training programmes, including scholarships for athletes with potential.
So let us hope with the seriousness given by the government let us all give our shares to help build and develop sports in the country. Remember the money is ours, so lets not waste them and spend wisely.
