Kuala Lumpur A Carnival – Jomheboh At Bukit Jalil

It was a fun filled weekend at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on 5th and 6th December when Media Prima or popularly known as TV3 organised the final leg in their Jomheboh road tour. It has become an annual activity for the largest television company in Malaysia to get close to their customer. The concept of entertainment, information and economy has been incorporated. TV3 use this carnival to bring down their departments that has been entertaining their viewers to reach the streets so that fans can get to meet their TV celebrities in real person.

On the information front, Government Departments and Agencies set up booths and exhibition to relay information to the public and this one of the avenue where government agencies have their actual open day. This is a more fruitful way to reduce the gap with the public as more people will be able to visit them and get the necessary information.
MAMPU is one of the government agencies that took part.
Never missing in every Jomheboh are food products companies who sell their goods at low rates. A goodies bag full if different foodstuff and snacks were usually sold at RM10.00 per bag.  It is quite a bargain when you can’t get the all those for a mere RM10.00.

Free food sample is of course always a hot among visitors. If one were to walk around and get to taste the samples, maybe you can skip lunch. Its just like the proverb, Sedikit-sedikit, Lama-lama jadi bukit…a little bit at a time it will end up as a hill.
The final performance of the carnival is the concert on the last night. Local artists and performers gather to entertain the crowd. and all for FREE. Even though it rains earlier in the evening, it does not dampen visitors to come in droves and get themselves entertained.
One of the main sponsors for this annual carnival is Hotlink one of the major player in the mobile communication sector in Malaysia.
