This is an annual event and highlight the closing of a year of sporting activities by Malaysians in an attempt to carve out our name in the International sports arena. On this glamorous nite, Malaysians is treated to a dinner with the King in attendance. This year’s event is the first sports award to be attended by the new King, KDYMM Tuanku Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah who was installed as the new King on 11th April 2012.

This event as usual is organised by the National Sports Council of Malaysia to honour the involvement and committment of all sports personnel and athletes of Malaysia in 2011. This years function is to be held at Palace of The Golden Horses, Seri Kembangan, Kuala Lumpur
