Kuala Lumpur: Tanpa berniat memburukkan dan menjatuhkan kredibiliti individu tertentu apa lagi menderhaka, sekumpulan penyokong tegar bola sepak negara menggesa pengurusan tertinggi Persatuan Bola Sepak Malaysia (FAM) dirombak.
Mereka turut meminta Presiden FAM, Sultan Ahmad Shah meletak jawatan dan memberi peluang kepada pemimpin baru yang mempunyai banyak visi dan idea segar dalam memartabatkan kembali kegemilangan bola sepak negara.
Apa FAM buat sejak liga kita mencapai status profesional pada 1993? FAM sebenarnya gagal kerana pasukan negeri atau kelab kita hanya layak beraksi di Piala AFC, bukan Liga Juara-Juara Asia,: Norazwan Mohamad, Wakil Ultras Malaya
Jurucakapnya, Al Fadli Awaludin, berkata pengurusan tertinggi FAM yang tidak pernah bertukar sejak 28 tahun lalu lalu, perlu diberi nafas baru bagi meletakkan semula Malaysia dalam peta bola sepak dunia.
“Ada lima sebab kenapa rombakan itu perlu dilakukan,” katanya pada sidang media di Medan Selera Kompleks Sukan Negara, Bukit Jalil di sini, pagi semalam.
Turut hadir pada sidang media itu ialah wakil daripada penyokong skuad Harimau Malaya iaitu Ultras Malaya, Norazwan Mohamad.
Pertama, katanya liga profesional domestik negara masih tidak berubah dan kini berada pada kategori gred D, selain tidak berdaya saing.
“Apa FAM buat sejak liga kita mencapai status profesional pada 1993? FAM sebenarnya gagal kerana pasukan negeri atau kelab kita hanya layak beraksi di Piala AFC, bukan Liga Juara-Juara Asia,” katanya.
Beliau berkata, kedua, pasukan kebangsaan tiada hala tuju kerana FAM tidak mementingkan ranking.
“Setiausaha Agung FAM sendiri kata ranking tak penting. Rasanya tak pernah pegawai negara lain kata begitu.
“Alasan susah nak dapat aksi persahabatan juga sekadar alasan kerana Persekutuan Bola Sepak Antarabangsa (FIFA) keluarkan tarikhnya empat tahun lebih awal,” katanya.
Ketiga, sistem bola sepak negara tiada visi dan misi yang jelas.
“Ia boleh dilihat menerusi sistem dan struktur akar umbi bola sepak negara masih tidak betul,” katanya.
Keempat, pengurusan tidak efisien dan tiada akauntabiliti.
Mengikut laman web rasmi FIFA, katanya hanya Malaysia negara yang lebih ramai pegawai daripada pemain berdaftar iaitu 11,810 pegawai dan 9,930 pemain.
“Kelima, budaya tidak sihat wujud kerana status Presiden FAM. Kita tak boleh bercakap, suara kita terhad dan ia menyebabkan susah nak menjana bola sepak negara.
“Tidak seperti sukan lain yang bebas untuk bersuara,” katanya.
Justeru, Alfadli menggesa penyokong bola sepak negara sama-sama menghantar petisyen yang boleh dimuat turun di laman Facebook bertajuk ‘Presiden FAM Sila Letak Jawatan’ (PFSLJ).

AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 – Its Not The End For Football
So we fail to defend the AFF Suzuki Cup but I think most sports fans can accept as to why Dato’ Raja’s boys let us down. I think they fall due to psychological pressure from the biased match official. Most match official who were assigned to officiate sports tournament or matches might knew very well how the host will entertain him so that he will be indebted and can make decisions to the host’s benefit.
Life for Dato’ Raja and his players must go on. Its not the end of the world.

Paralimpiad Malaysia XVI Kuantan
Paralimpiad Malaysia XVI Edition closes its curtain in Kuantan on 14th December 2012. For 4 days spastic sportsmen and women compete among each other to proof that they too are as good as able bodied sportsmen in their own class.
Compared to SUKMA held at the same Kuantan town in Pahang, Paralimpiad did not get much coverage from the media. It is quite disheartening that the disabled sports men still did not get proper treatment from those who are more lucky to be blessed with normal life.
This is my first involvement with Paralimpiad and I could see the cold reception from the public and media.
Majlis Paralimpik Malaysia is working hard to put disable sports men as near as possible to able bodied sportsmen but it is a mountain for them to climb. At Olympic level they had already proved they are on par with able bodied sportsmen when they too clinch a Silver and a Bronze.

XVI Paralimpiad Malaysia 2012
The XVI Edition of Paralimpiad Malaysia was officially open at SUKPA Complex yesterday 9th December 2012.
Disabled athletes from all over the country meet at Kuantan to compete for 4 days beginning 10 December 2012 to prove that they too are champions in their respective sports.

RM1.5 Million for Sports Development
42 sport bodies should be very pleased when they are awarded with a total of RM1.5 million for development. The funds were handed by Sports Minister, Datuk Seri Shabery Cheek at NSC.
Each of the 42 sports bodies were given between RM40,000 and RM50,000 each.
Now the taxpayers hope the funds will be put into good use to develop sports in the country and everybody especially the athletes were to benefit most from it.

Paralimpiad Malaysia XVI Volunteer Training
Its 7 days away before the paralympians gather in Kuantan for the XVI Edition of Paralimpiad Malaysia 2012. For about a week citizens of Kuantan will be witness before their eye how our disabled athletes compete among themselves to achieve the motto of Sukan Menjana Perpaduan.
This morning volunteers make a beeline to Wisma Belia Kuantan to register for training. Maybe these volunteers had previous experience with SUKMA which was concluded earlier this year, but Paralympic might be a bit different because they have to handle disabled athletes.
This volunteer training will be a half day event to expose volunteers of what they might expect with disabled athletes.
